The Éislek region in the north of Luxembourg boasts lush forests, green hills, deep valleys and windy plateaus. Experience inspiring moments: active holidaymakers can enjoy the ascents and descents of the hills and a stunning natural experience while hiking or cycling, but art and history enthusiasts will also find what they are looking for.

The Our valley promenade starts right on our doorstep, taking you from Vianden to Stolzembourg.

Vianden is also home to Luxembourg’s only chairlift. It starts at 220m in the valley and ascends to an altitude of 440m, offering a magnificent panoramic view of the Our valley during the ride.

It is open from Easter to October between 10.00 am and 5:00 pm.

It may close in October during bad weather.

In addition to the usual attractions, Vianden has a high ropes course with many different workshops and a rope slide.

After brief instruction, visitors can choose between different climbing courses. Visitors are secured with a rope during all exercises and trained staff watch over your safety from the ground. You climb for 2 hours and may complete the courses several times if time permits.
